A poll from released in February conducted by the University of North Florida found that a majority of registered voters in the state support restoring the right to vote to non-violent convicted felons. Some 71 percent of respondents said they’d vote “yes” on November’s (state) Constitutional amendment.
In addition, some 62 percent of respondents said they supported legalizing and regulating recreational marijuana. That issue, however, isn’t expected to be addressed until at least 2020.
